Post-Accident Drug Testing Services

Our certified DOT lab technician will come to you to collect the required samples for DOT and Non-DOT testing.  We serve the Chicago area and will  arrive at your designated location fully equipped with all the necessary testing materials. 

 The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires DOT  post-accident drug testing in specific situations. The following  information provides a clear overview of when testing is mandatory.  

• Fatality Accidents -  DOT Post-Accident drug and alcohol testing is always required in the event of a fatality.   
• Bodily Injury Accidents - In the event of an accident that requires immediate medical treatment away from the scene, or if a  citation is issued, drug and alcohol testing is required within 8 hours. 
• Tow-Away Accident -   In the event of an accident that requires towing to any motor vehicle,  and a citation is issued to a CMV driver within 8 hours, an alcohol test  is required. 

 Alcohol Results are typically available within minutes, allowing for swift decision-making. For DOT drug testing, results have to be sent off to the lab per FMCSA Federal regulations. For post-accident testing at individual employers, most rapid results are available in minutes with Electronic CCF's emailed as soon as testing is completed.
